Carlos Antonio Jimenez

Laying here and cuddling as the morning breaks

I thank the Lord for you with every breath I take

Just watching you wake up, so grateful you're alive

There is nowhere else I'd rather be than by your side

When you open up your eyes and look at me

I see the handsome man I was always meant to see

I want you to know you are supported and loved

A beautiful blessing sent down from above

With your wonderful heart and your intelligent mind

A spirit like yours is a treasure to find

Whenever you need me, I'll be right here to stay

I want to be the reason that you smile today

Bowing our heads before we share a meal

Hearing you pray shows me just how much you feel

You're so smart and funny, you always make me laugh

Walking together in faith on this beautiful path

I look into your eyes and see the light you hold

Seeing you happy is the greatest joy to unfold

I want you to know you are supported and loved

A beautiful blessing sent down from above

With your wonderful heart and your intelligent mind

A spirit like yours is a treasure to find

Whenever you need me, I'll be right here to stay

I want to be the reason that you smile today

Carlos Antonio Jimenez, you are my safe place

I want you to be happy when you see my face

Deeply cared for and wanted, every single day

I will lift you up every time that we pray

Your happiness is mine, our spirits intertwined

The most lovable soul I could ever find

I want you to know you are supported and loved

A beautiful blessing sent down from above

With your wonderful heart and your intelligent mind

A spirit like yours is a treasure to find

Whenever you need me, I'll be right here to stay

I thank the Lord for you every time we pray
