Fay

It’s been over a decade since the journey began

At Building Blocks, where we made our plan

We looked out for each other, day after day

I thank the heavens that I met you, Fay

You walked right in and you stayed right by my side

With a loyal heart that you never try to hide

Oh, you are my sister for life, yes you are

Through the thick and the thin, no matter how far

You lift up my spirit, you help me to stand

With a patient soul and a willing hand

I’m singing it loud, let the whole world see

Fay, you’re a lifelong blessing to me

When the road gets heavy and my steps are slow

You encourage my mind, you make my faith grow

You’re a special person with a spirit so bright

Always bringing the kindness, always bringing the light

Through every season, through the joy and the tears

We’ve carried each other across all these years

Oh, you are my sister for life, yes you are

Through the thick and the thin, no matter how far

You lift up my spirit, you help me to stand

With a patient soul and a willing hand

I’m singing it loud, let the whole world see

Fay, you’re a lifelong blessing to me

We built our foundation, we weathered the rain!

Shared in the triumphs, shared in the pain!

Ten years of love, and it’s still going strong!

With a sister like you, I can sing a new song!

Oh, I count my blessings for a bond so deep!

This is a promise that we're gonna keep!

Oh, you are my sister for life, yes you are!

Through the thick and the thin, no matter how far!

You lift up my spirit, you help me to stand!

With a patient soul and a willing hand!

I’m singing it loud, let the whole world see!

Fay, you’re a sister for life to me!

Yes, a sister for life to me!
