holly

We were only fifteen when our story began

Down at the BT, I wanted to be your man

I felt my heart racing, I knew it was real

I couldn't hold back all the things that I feel

So I waited right there as you stepped on the bus

And I shouted "I love you," the beginning of us

Oh, Holly, you're the heart of this life that we've made

From traveling the world to the foundation we laid

You're selfless and kind, you put everyone first

My steady hand when the weather gets worse

An amazing woman, my beautiful friend

I'd choose you all over, time and again

September eighteenth, we stood side by side

I promised forever to my beautiful bride

We packed up our bags and we took to the sky

From the neon of Vegas to the shores of Hawaii

Every stamp in our passport, every mile that we flew

Just brought me much closer, my darling, to you

Oh, Holly, you're the heart of this life that we've made

From traveling the world to the foundation we laid

You're selfless and kind, you put everyone first

My steady hand when the weather gets worse

An amazing woman, my beautiful friend

I'd choose you all over, time and again

Now the greatest adventure isn't crossing the sea

It's Maisy, and Marnie, and Marco, and me

Watching you raise them with nothing but grace

There's a beautiful, selfless light on your face

Oh, Holly, you're the heart of this life that we've made

From the steps of that bus to the foundation we laid

You're amazing and kind, you put our kids first

My steady hand when the weather gets worse

My beautiful wife, my lifelong friend

I'll love you forever, right up to the end
