Jan

Jan, take a second to look in the mirror

The man that you are is getting much clearer

A handsome reflection, a welcoming face

You've learned how to carry yourself with such grace

You’re always the one who will sit down and listen

A sensitive soul with a heart on a mission

So breathe it all in and let it all go

Don't sweat the small stuff, just go with the flow

You’ve got a good heart, you're doing alright

Step out of the worry and into the light

Feel proud of the person you are today

You’re stronger than ever in every way

You know how to laugh when the skies turn gray

Joking the shadows and tension away

With every year passing, you've grown so deep

Finding a quiet, new promise to keep

And when you look right into your son's eyes

You see a pure love that is honest and wise

So breathe it all in and let it all go

Don't sweat the small stuff, just go with the flow

You’ve got a good heart, you're doing alright

Step out of the worry and into the light

Feel proud of the person you are today

You’re stronger than ever in every way

It takes a brave man to be gentle and kind

To leave the unnecessary burdens behind

Look at the emotional ground you have gained

You weathered the storms and you walked through the rain

You're finding your peace and you're standing so tall

Learning to love who you are through it all

So breathe it all in and let it all go

Don't sweat the small stuff, just go with the flow

You’ve got a good heart, you're doing alright

Step out of the worry and into the light

Feel proud of the person you are today

For you and your son, you are leading the way
