Stephanie

Looking back at the valleys we walked through

Heavy clouds trying to block out the view

But I had an angel walking beside me

Stephanie, your patience was the light to guide me

When the burdens were heavy and the road was long

Your understanding kept my spirit strong

Oh, look where we are after all the tears

Look at the love that conquered the fears

We survived the hardships, we made it through

I found my daily miracle in you

Hallelujah for the happiness we found

Stephanie, we're standing on higher ground

I count the blessings sitting at our table

Our beautiful children, strong and able

They carry your spirit, they carry your grace

I see your caring heart in every face

You held us together when the winds would blow

Watered the roots and watched our family grow

Oh, look where we are after all the tears

Look at the love that conquered the fears

We survived the hardships, we made it through

I found my daily miracle in you

Hallelujah for the happiness we found

Stephanie, we're standing on higher ground

It wasn't always easy, the mountains were steep

But the promises we made were the ones we would keep

Through the trials and the fire, through the darkest night

Your sweet, sweet love brought me into the light

Yes, we survived, we weathered the storm

You kept this family safe and warm

So I lift up my voice and I count every day

Thankful for the wife who showed me the way

Stephanie, my rock, my peaceful dove

A living testament to the power of love

We made it to the mountaintop, side by side

With nothing but faith and your heart as my guide

Oh, look where we are after all the tears

Look at the love that conquered the fears

We survived the hardships, we made it through

I found my daily miracle in you

Hallelujah for the happiness we found

Stephanie, we're standing on higher ground

Look where we are, oh, look where we are

Thank God for you, my brightest star
